Press Release :Men Welfare Trust Celebrates The International Father’s Day 2019 with #SelfieWithDad
Men Welfare Trust Celebrates The International Father’s Day 2019 with #SelfieWithDad Campaign !
As part of the celebration, Men Welfare Trust will organise several activities on Sunday, June 16, 2019 starting at 5:00 pm at the India Gate Lawns. These activities will involve engagement with families, painting competitions for children and several joint activities for children with their fathers, followed by Q&A. The event will conclude by a song dedicated to the spirit of fatherhood. Date: Sunday, June 16, 2019 Time: 5:00 pm onwards Venue: Near Amar Jawan Jyoti, India Gate Lawns.
Starting today, volunteers of Men Welfare Trust will also run the #SelfieWithDad Campaign on Twitter and Facebook where they will call people to post ‘Father and child’ selfies as a tribute to their fathers. The aim is to create awareness and bring to fore contributions and importance of fathers to their families and to the society, which are very often taken for granted. Father's Day is a celebration honouring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, enforcing paternal bonds, and highlighting the influence of fathers in society.
He added, “There has been a sea change in the society and specially the family system in India in the last couple of decades and the Divorce rates are ever rising. This has resulted in a lot of Fathers being deprived from seeing their own children and the society is moving towards a Father-less society like in the west. It is only in our interests that the government urgently recognise the pain of Fathers and make laws that are in line with the current and ongoing changes in the society”.
Studies show that children coming from broken fatherless families are more prone resorting to drugs, alcoholism and crime; and, cases where children at a very young age are running away from homes, getting into juvenile crimes, drugs and prostitution.
Recommendations to the government by Men Welfare Trust:
• Shared parenting to be Law in India as it is in most parts of the world; and guidelines by the Mumbai High-court on shared parenting to be strictly followed by other family courts across India
• Formation of ‘National Commission for Men’ to look into the rights of Fathers and rising suicides by the alienating fathers in India
• Ministry of Women and Child Development to recognise the rights of children to have access to their fathers for a balanced upbringing. Alternatively, create a separate Ministry (Ministry of Children) for looking at specific issue related to child rights
History of Father’s Day :
Father’s Day is celebrated in majority countries of the world on the 3rd Sunday in the month of June. This day is to honour fathers and celebrate fatherhood, paternal bonds, and recognise contributions of fathers in society. Father’s Day was inaugurated as a civic celebration in The U.S., in the early 20th century to complement Mother's Day by celebrating fathers and male parenting. The first observance of a ‘Father's Day’ was held on July 5, 1908, in Fairmont, West Virginia. In countries like The U.S., Father’s Day is a permanent national holiday since 1972 when President Richard Nixon signed it into law.

Thursday, June 13, 2019; New Delhi: Men Welfare Trust (MWT), a registered NGOs under the aegis of Save Indian Family (SIF) movement, will celebrate The International Father’s Day 2019 with their campaign – #SelfieWithDad.
As part of the celebration, Men Welfare Trust will organise several activities on Sunday, June 16, 2019 starting at 5:00 pm at the India Gate Lawns. Father's Day is a celebration honouring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, enforcing paternal bonds, and highlighting the influence of fathers in society.
Speaking about the #SelfieWithDad Campaign, Mr Amit Lakhani, Founder President of Men Welfare Trust said, “I sometimes feel that as a society, we have failed to acknowledge the value of a father in a child’s life. Even those who understand this fail to express and tell our dads how much we love and care for them. Going further, through this initiative, we aim to spread awareness on shared parenting and child alienation which has today become a very serious social issue”.
He added, “There has been a sea change in the society and specially the family system in India in the last couple of decades and the Divorce rates are ever rising. This has resulted in a lot of Fathers being deprived from seeing their own children and the society is moving towards a Father-less society like in the west. #StopChildLabour : Poor boys are not #RejectedMaal
On the eve of Stop Child Labour day, many high profile people making their views and concern, but have you ever try to understand why the same not vanished?
The main reason we believe poor boys are #RejectedMal of our Country , witness even from a well educated women Chief Minister's Statement as witness.
Boys are 'rejected maal': Anandiben Patel, Gujarat CM ...
All most all analysis proved the main reason of Child Labour is poverty. So , the Government must work towards remove the poverty right ?
But look all policy and data, you will find the Job opportunity of Men is decreasing and Women are increasing. Thanks to our great Feminist Ideology and creating more and more broken home, promoting and incentivized Divorce more than stay as married for women. Result more and more #FatherLessChild In society, as the assumption that a women can take care the Child much better than a men, so in 98% cases the Child Custody had been given to mother by ignoring the merit of the cases also.
But when comes to Child Labour what data says?
Child Poverty of Married Couple Family: 8 to 10%.Child Poverty in Female headed Family: 39 to 47%.(Study by USA, In India no NGO dare to make any such study).
A basis common sense say , we must form policy and Law which encourage or incentivized for married Women than incentivized the divorced Women in the name of maintenance or alomoney. Because such money never used for real well fare of Child.
Next the most concern by Child activist , Child working is not the problem, the problem is they don’t go to School , they work in hazardous situation , they are subject to abuse and one day even became rapist or a hardcore criminal. None will disagree but what data and various study say?
1. 71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes (Source: National Principals Association Report on the State of High Schools.)2. More boys (38.7 million) than girls (8.8 million) are involved in hazardous work.
To score some brownie points , our Government and NGOs are working by ignoring the important statistics like Drop out from High School of Boys is increasing year by years.
Now tell me one scheme or policy by WCD, which aims to address the problem of High drop out of Boys from School and work as Child Labour?
Last 10 years we are continuously demand the present Women and Child Ministry to be separated. As we had witnessed the policy and Laws created by such ministry is anti-Child. In the name of Protection of Women they always neglected the need and care of Child.
Many might have forgotten even our Ms. Anandi Behan, CM of Gujarat in a social function termed the poor Boys as #RejectedMall and non had shown any outrage.
At the end we appreciate our Prime Minister focus on #BetiPawda campaign, but give a small attention to poor Boys of this country, don’t treat them as #RejectedMall.
No child born as rapist or murder, it is you and I make them rapist and Murder, so instead of making assumption based policy, time to rethink and review all policy related to the Problem of Indian Boys faced today than ignoring them.
Boys are 'rejected maal': Anandiben Patel ... - YouTube
Wake up , instead of treating Poor Boys of India as #RejectedMaal , understand their Problem and review our all Law and Policy on the eve of Stop Child Labour Day and act based on data than some vested interest of WCD or any Vote bank Political Ideology.

SERIOUS OBJECTIONS TO MARRIAGE LAW (AMENDMENT) BILL 2014.
SERIOUS OBJECTIONS TO INTRODUCTION OF MARRIAGE LAW (AMENDMENT) BILL 2014.
Click Here to Know proposed 13C/D/E/F of the Bill. Main objection to Proposed “Marriage(Amended) Bill
With this Press Release, we members of Save Family Foundation hereby want to register very serious and strong objection to the process followed for the introduction of Marriage Law (Amendment) Bill. We have learnt from the latest news reports and from our calls to the Legislative Department of Law Ministry, and by meeting the Hon’ble Law Minster Sri. D.VSadananda Gowda that the Government is about to Introduce a new Law, Marriage Law (Amendment) Bill in this Winter Session. The draft bill is to change Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 and Special Marriages Act.
With this Press Release, we also wish to bring to your kind notice the CLEAR VIOLATION that Legislative Department has done while processing the new Draft. As per Pre-Legislative Consultation Policy (PLCP), decided on 10th January 2014, it was decided, that “The Department/Ministry concerned should publish/place in public domain the draft legislation or at least the information that may inter alia include brief justification for such legislation, essential elements of the proposed legislation, its broad financial implications, and an estimated assessment of the impact of such legislation on environment, fundamental rights, lives and livelihoods of the concerned/affected people, etc. Such details may be kept in the public domain for a minimum period of thirty days for being proactively shared with the public in such manner as may be specified by the Department/Ministry concerned.”
We bring to your attention to this Notification dated 5th February 2014, D.O. No. 11 (35)/2013-L.I., which mandates the ministry to Publish the Draft Legislation in Public Domain for ATLEAST 30 days and in fact notify the affected people. Unfortunately, the current draft clearly violates this very important procedure laid down by the Committee of Secretaries (CoS) under the Chairmanship of Cabinet Secretary.
We also wish to submit to you that the Draft which saw widespread Public concern/panic, cannot be pushed again without having passed the Constitutional Procedures laid down in our Democracy. This is the same Draft bill which never saw the light at the end of the tunnel during previous government as BJP itself realized how disastrous this law was for Hindu Family and Hindu Men.The Bill was opposed by various segments of society and even ministries and got International-wide attention on India for proposing such a draconian law.
In spite of all the above, it is really SHOCKING and heart-breaking that the New Visionary Government, under a dynamic leadership who pledged “SABKA SAATH SABKA VIKAS” has not taken the TRANSPARENT route and is behaving same as the previous Congress led UPA Government now.
GRAVE FAR REACHING SOCIAL AND ECONOMICIMPLICATIONS OF THE PROPOSED MARRIAGE LAW AMMENDMENT BILL 2014:
FLAWS OF THE PROPOSED MARRIAGE LAW AMMENDMENT BILL 2014:
ALTERNATES FOR ENSURING FINANCIAL ASSITANCE & EMPOWERMENT FOR DIVORCED SPOUSE:
Marriage is an institution which if it does not work should not be a punishment for one party (husband) and a reward for another (wife). To empower women in true form, work opportunity should be provided by the state for a woman who faces grave financial hardships; adequate measures should be devised to address it, instead of penalizing husband alone.
We recommend the following measures to be strictly implemented:
11. Condition of closing child custody litigation before granting divorce under Section 13C, so that rights of child to seek the involvement of both parents are not taken away from it.
Sir, we earnestly request your immediate intervention since such half-baked hastily prepared formulations, sans due consultation, & based on unfounded prejudices, have the potential to grievously imperil the social fabric of the society. This is apart from the stupendous economic impact caused by the matrimonial disputes and their offshoots including criminal cases. It is well acknowledged that Indian laws, i.e. the legal framework that enables a society to believe in justice and devote its energies to productive endeavors, has not kept pace with the times, is badly outdated and is designed more to benefit the legal fraternity than the litigating parties, howsoever pitiable and needy they may be. Strife and discord can only harm a society’s march towards improved quality of life. You have enthused the nation by giving it a vision, courage to dream big and faith in its ability to achieve the same but all this would necessarily require a healthy society where the mind is fearless. We request you to take decisions that have far reaching consequences after due thought and consideration.
Looking forward to your kind help and support and immediate action as per the Prayer .

- 1. LOSS OF FAMILY VALUES AND FALL OF INSTITUTION OF MARRIAGE IN INDIA
- Marriage will lose its sanctimonious purpose and become property acquiring business. Already, there is an increasing trend towards material expectations in a marriage; the amendment will have a far reaching consequence. With divorce no more being a taboo in India, the incentive of women taking divorce would work as reverse DOWRY menace where women would marry for property and not for family or love.
- China in 2010 amended a similar property annexing law when it found that it being misused extensively by women to grab property through marriages. With misuse of gender laws in India close to an all-time high, this is not the climate to introduce another dangerously draconian legislation. [1]
- 2. SEVERE VIOLENCE AND SOCIAL UNREST IS HIGHLY PROBABALE
- Assets/Properties are acquired after years of hard work and not because of few years of matrimonial life. Losing hard earned property in case of failed marriage will lead to increase in Husband Suicide (already it is double) and Increase in Crime Rates.
- The Battle of Mahabharata was fought for five villages. With the proposed amendments the home of every Husband’s family is going to be in trouble. This Bill if passed in its current form may result in the very person sought to be benefitted/ protected becoming a victim of violence for protecting property as there is hardly any faith in the biased legal system. Will the BJP be willing to take full responsibility for this dangerous social disruption?
- 3. INDIAN ECONOMY WOULD BE ADVERSELY IMPACTED & INDIA WILL NOT BE perceived as safe destination for FDI
- When the society is in unrest and family values are broken, the dream of “Make in India” would go for a toss. Economies like Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Fijiwould grow and India would lose the unique opportunity it has to lure the world for “Make in India”.
- Indian men in fear of possible loss would stop buying properties and it would have adverse consequences to the nation’s economy.
- People would start accumulating wealth in alternate form like gold etc., which would result in a dull economy that believes in secure accumulation than investment for growth.
- With wealth and real estate not safe in India, Indian Men would surely think of investing in other countries the Black Money would be created and kept in secret. Today also in USA if a person shows $100K worth of investment to be made he is granted Green Card in no time. This way there is a brain drain and wealth drain as well.
- 4. MASS CONVERSION FROM HINDU TO OTHER RELIGIONS
- Hindu men would want to convert to another religion to minimize their risks in matrimonial life. This mass conversion has its own extremely dire social complications.
- Hindu Men would stop marrying or do SAGOTRA VIVAH to keep the property in the gamily. This would itself create many honor killings and people taking law in their hands.
- 5. INCREASE IN BACKLOG OF MATRIMONIAL CASES IN INDIAN COURTS
- It is an established trend and confirmed by Apex court that, in failed marriages women are grossly misusing IPC 498a and DV Act for extortion. This amendment will be another tool and further distress families.
- India has the youngest of the average population. There is a unique combination of youth and skills in this age group. Most of the relationship/marriage/family troubles occur in this age group. If this age group is not ina stable family and relationship state the productivity of INDIA would go down drastically when most are deeply immersed in litigation battles.
FLAWS OF THE PROPOSED MARRIAGE LAW AMMENDMENT BILL 2014:
- The Bill, out-rightly violates the essence of Article 15 of Indian Constitutionwhichprohibits discrimination against any citizen on the grounds of religion or gender. The Bill is also unconstitutional as it takes away the basic rights of husbands, even to defend him or save his marriage, whereas the very same Bill gives the same rights only to the wives.
- Internationally in similar law, property consideration in deciding permanent alimony is purely done on equitable financial contribution to property and duration of marriage and also based on conduct of both the parties. In present bill the contribution, duration, assets and ability of female spouse and liabilities and ability of the male spouse is completely ignored.
- It completely ignores that a wife gets her share of inherited property from her parents under the latest Hindu Succession Acts. Blindly entitling wife for share in property at the divorce time under this no-fault divorce law is against social justice and completely not gender neutral. All men are assumed to be rich and wife is assumed to be poor which is clearly not true.
- Even though a marriage can fail due to the fault of the husband or the wife, the bill essentially extends the “Financial Assistance” clause only to the wife and not to the husband and this is patently anti male.
- When husbands are the petitioner for a divorce, the wife will be allowed to use the ‘Financial Hardship’ condition to block the divorce till her monetary demands are met, thereby legalizing extortion.
- When a wife is the petitioner for a divorce, even though the husband may be in a “Financial Hardship” he will have no legal provision to claim monetary assistance from the wife or even to save his marriage.
- This Bill would be widely misused against the husband who will be forced to “pay and buy” a divorce, reducing the institution of marriage into “Glorified Prostitution”.
- Government’s intention of reducing back-log of matrimonial cases would not come through with this amendment, instead of letting the couple to arrive at a mutual consent it would only pressurize men and would get into an endless court battle in higher courts and would further increase.
- Government’s logic of ending the financial hardship of a divorced wife is completely flawed as even as per government 70% of Indian population needs Food Security let alone have a house or property. In other 30% only 10% own their own homes and in those only a small percentage is Hindu that falls under this amendment. This bill is not going to bring a social change or security in any way when seen holistically.
- Hindu Marriage Act is conceived as an overall a gender neutral act and it must not me made gender biased in anyway.
- The maintenance and alimony sections (HMA 24 and 25) must be brought up-to-date considering the enhanced education, earning capacity and women friendly work atmosphere in the country.
- As women can and does inherit the property from her own parents under the present laws, women being given any direct or indirect share in in-laws property is illogical and against natural justice.
- Consideration of any property while determining Alimony should be as per the financial contribution by husband and wife.
- In case of non-financial contribution, devise a formula to evaluate minimum duration of marriage for applicability of property division as well as devise a formula to evaluate the contribution.
- Pre-Nuptial Agreements should be made legal so as not to make marriage a gamble for Indian citizen and containing the risk of (breakage of) a marriage.
- Hindu Marriage Succession Act of 2005 be strictly implemented. The woman’s share in her parent’s property should be SuoMoto given to her either at the time of marriage or at the time of Divorce is filed in the court (by either party) if the party wishes.
- In cases of unemployed women or women with long career break, State should take the responsibility of providing employment and livelihood to divorced wife, Employment for Divorced wife in line of Mahatma Gandhi NREGA must be institutionalized. A Divorced Wife Welfare Fund may also be created for financial support to them in line of the Food Security Bill.
- By attempting to create draconian marriage breaking laws like Marriage Law Amendment Bill on one hand and to legalize prostitution on another, the government has made its intentions very clear on what its wants to do with the sacred Hindu Family. This bill needs to be immediately stopped and public opinion must be sought through an extensive public debate.
- Issue the Draft for Public Opinion and responses on the Draft Bill.
- Involve stake holders of similar stature in drafting procedure i.e., if there are no Men’s Rights Authority (like National Commission of Men) who are part of drafting then even Ministry of Women and Child Development and National Commission of Women MUST not be allowed to participate in this procedure.
- Initiate the process of formation of National Commission of Men involving bodies who have been working for Men for years to bring the equitable balance back into the society in terms of Laws and Law Making process.
- Initiate a Parliamentary Committee (Joint Select Committee) procedure to relook at the Draft and see if there is a need of such a law and if it is as per the guidelines of Hon’ble Supreme Court or being formed under pressure of some interested parties.
- Amending section 13D and making it gender neutral and allowing both the Husband and Wife to pray for ‘Financial Hardship’.
- Providing a clear & objective definition of “Financial Hardship’ so that this term is not interpreted in a wrong way and divorces are not sold by wives. All other maintenance cases filed by the wife, like Sec24, CrPC 125, DV etc, should not be allowed to continue, blocking the judicial dockets, as the relief sought in all of them, will also be available in this Bill only.
- Creating objective parameters for calculating financial assistance like tenure of the marriage and relative sacrifice made by the parties in the marriage.
- Reduce separation period from 3 years to 1 year under Section 13C – petition for divorce only after 1 year of marriage.

#HugYourDad & take Vow to Stop Fatherless Child society in India on #FathersDay.
Vicks VapoRub #HugYourDad - YouTube
“This father’s day, I am expressing my love towards my dad by participating in the #HugYourDad activity at BlogAdda in association with Vicks.”
Only a Father can put his life at risk knowingly or unknowingly for his Child. Many of you would have heard this popular story:
Once a fatherand his 8 years old daughter was to
cross a river. There was only one small damaged bamboo bridge to cross the
river. The chances of bridge breaking down were very high if one was to walk
through the bridge.
The father asked his daughter to hold his hand tightly, so that she would not fall down.
But the daughter said, “NO”, you hold my hand instead of me holding your hand.
The father was surprised and asked his daughter the reason?
The daughter replied, “I may leave your hand by mistake, but I know you will never leave my hand in any condition”.
That is the trust and confidence a Father gives to
his Child.
Recently I witnessed an Advertisement of Gillette
Role Model camping, where a 9 year old boy named Rudra, fights with his
friend Kush, as Kush was hitting a sixer on every ball Rudra bowled to him.
Rudra started using abusive words and they both end up fighting.
When his father questions him, from where he had learned such abusive words, he innocently replied “On TV bowlers use such words for Batsmen”.
His father then tells him to go and apologise to his friend and congratulate his friends for his success.
The boy asks his father “Why to congratulate?”
The father asks back, “Who hit the Six?”
The boy replies, “Kush”.
Father asks again “So, should Kush not be congratulated?”
Rudra understands what his father was trying to teach him. He rushes to Kush and apologises and congratulates him. His father later approaches Rudra and tells him that he will teach Rudra new bowling technique, so that he can bowl Kush out in the first ball the next time.
Father is the first teacher any child witnesses from their childhood.
These all are happy stories that we all remember. But
there are hidden truths in Indian society and courts of LAW, where more than
95% fathers are denied the custody of a child although comparatively they are more
capable of taking care of their child’s welfare. Their paternal emotions for
their own children get smashed day after day in the courtrooms, but Judges
continue to use fathers as FREE ATM machines.
With time more and more anti-men, anti-father laws
like 498A, DV, CRPC125, adultery laws etc, family harmony is being destroyed
and the couple are fighting in court across 6 to 8 cases against each other.
Such fathers and husband are treated as guilty till proven innocent.
The verbal statements of a wife are considered as gospel
truth, irrespective of the audio/video evidence husbands and fathers provide,
irrespective of their heart wrenching distress that is evident to all present
in the courtrooms. Everyone, but the judges can see that he is not at fault,
and label him a criminal, a worthless, incapable father unless higher courts
state otherwise.
On average it takes between 5 to 7 years to prove a
man his innocence. Historically and statistically, in more than 90% cases courts
eventually find Husbands and fathers not at fault. However by this time he has
lost 5 to 7 years of his golden years that he would have lived and shared with
his loved child. No court, no society, no sympathy, nobody, not even Almighty
God can give back those precious years to a husband, a father. While a father
lives in pain during these years, a child misses out on all the love,
affection, care, guidance that the child would have received from his father.
The most unbearable pain such fathers get is the
pain of being deprived to meet and share moments with their own child or
children. Many a times, when such pain crosses a certain threshold, fathers see
no choice but to end their lives to stop living with such unbearable pain. In
SIF, we have witnessed numerous cases where men have ended their lives
silently, but at the same time being apologetic to their children for not
having suffered ongoing pain. On various video sharing websites like Youtube,
one can find many videos like that of Syed Makhdoom who have left final
messages for their children and the world.
As a SIF moderator, in last 10 years, I have seen more than 7000+ cases, where a husband has been treated just like a free ATM machine. To get a basic visiting right for his child, court keeps giving dates after date. After many years of a long painful fight against the rotten, corrupt system, when he does eventually get a legal right, the wife does not obey the court order and poisons the child’s mind against his own father, labelling him as the worst person in the world; as ifDawood Ibrahim would be a better person than his own father.
Anish Aggarwal, a 38 years old bright Software
engineer, has been paying Rs 6000 per month for the past 2 years as maintenance
to his child; however he continues to wait to meet his child. He continues to
endure this pain in hope. Hope that one day he will be able to meet his child,
give him a hug and shower his blessings upon the child. His child and he
continue to miss those precious moments that they both deserve and need as
humans.
Mr. ShymalVikram, 39 years old, HR manager in a MNC, managed to see his child in the 8th year after paying Rs 8000 per month for 7 years. He was over the moon when he met his child. However who will return those precious 7 years of love and affection that he wanted to give and his child had right to receive?
Mr. KunalMitra, had child visiting order in hand
for 3 year, but failed to meet his child. When he reached in front of his
wife’s home to meet his child, she filed more cases like Domestic violence to
threaten him. Why has society given such ludicrous powers to wives that they
continue to misuse and destroy a father and his love for his child?
Mr. Ashish Sarkar, 38 years old works in a media house. For the last 2 years he has been fighting in a court to find out if his child is a son or a daughter, let alone see the child. His wife on the other hand seeks maintenance for the child! Where is humanity heading, where is our Indian society moving towards with so much greed and selfishness?
Mr. Ashish Sarkar, had a judgment, where the judge clearly mentioned in maintenance cases order, that it is totally unfair on part of wife to hide the child’s sex. Unfortunately due to rampant gender bias and blindness towards men and fathers, he cant do anything against such injustice even in a court. Why do we have a judicial system that is so diseased and disabled?
Similar to such real life situations, such
injustice to Indian fathers is rampant. India is heading speedily towards a
fatherless society.
In a
recent letter, a Delhi based NGO Save Family Foundation questioned WCD (Women
and child Ministry) on Father’s Day - Can a Child get Divorced?( Link )
They also cited statistics on how a Fatherless society is dangerous:
As we know fathers play a vital role in the development of a child. In United States of America, reported statistics inform us that Children from fatherless homes are:
1. 5 times more likely to commit suicide
2. 32 times more likely to run away from home.
3. 20 times more likely to have behavioural disorders
4. 9 times more likely to drop out of high school.
5. 10 times more likely to abuse chemical substances (become drug addicts)
In India, if you were to go through the crime data on
Children and Adolescents, you will notice that more than 70 percent are fatherless
children while more than 90 percent of call girls under prostitution net,
confirm that they don’t have a father.
But will our LAW makers, WCD and Court Judges ever
understand this and should they continue to use fathers as Free ATM machine
only? If only money were able to provide a good welfare fora child, then all children
from rich homes would have good moral characters and would never have any
criminal records.
A child needs a teacher, a trusting relationship, a
guiding friend, a loving father and a figure who has a God-like nature for
blessings. Only a father can provide these as a single entity on this planet.
These cannot be bought by money and no other human can give these to a child
the way a Father does.
Now a days we witness Supreme Court, LAW makers and
radical feminist groups advocating mediation/counselling from women’s cells all
across the country. However these women cells have become cells of legal
extortion and blackmailing cells for desperate, distressed fathers.
In my opinion as an advocate for Family harmony and child benefit, I suggest that children should have access to both parents irrespective of whether couple are able to reunite or separate amicably. That should be a standard process if we are to keep the child’s welfare at the forefront. Clearly a child cannot express such common-sense desire in women’s cell or Police stations or the NGO heads who are too often blinded in the name of women empowerment.
Please don’t kill the emotion of a Father for his
child, an emotion that cannot be created or duplicated by force, law or threats.
Biased practices in the courtrooms and society also kill the emotions of a
child that are created by nature. Such emotional bonds are needed for a normal
development of a child physically, emotionally, morally, spiritually and
socially.
Very sadly, many lawyers, judges and others with
blinded vision feel proud when a wife gets complete child custody or receives a
big fat amount of money in the name of child care. Commonly we hear “A child
has been united by his mother”. Nobody says “A child has been separated from his
Father”. Such children become and remain fatherless forever.
As responsible adults, we must encourage children
to meet separated Father’s home every weekend and whenever there is an
opportunity, instead of supervised visitations or meetings limited to family
court premises or within a park etc.
We must seek Law makers and Politicians to Grant immediate and equal (child) access to both parents, to legislate laws and make co-parenting mandatory to prevent expanding a fatherless society.
